PR Moment Award wins

Winning Mid-sized Agency of the Year at the PR Moment Awards brings up a groundswell of mixed emotions. It’s been a year like no other (no one needs me to tell them that!), with restrictions bringing a temporary halt (again) to much face-to-face contact with our work colleagues and friends. All of the uncertainty has had an effect. But through it all, this team has been incredible. Not only have we continued to deliver award-winning (more on that later) work and put clients’ needs at the forefront of everything we do, but every single member of the Teamspirit team has done so while taking the time to look out for each other, keeping morale and motivation high throughout the strange world of 2020.

We have always worked in an agile and integrated way – continuing to push the boundaries for our financial and professional services clients. And our second award win of the day was for one of these campaigns. AIG wanted to challenge consumer perceptions of critical illness protection (CI) - and barriers to consideration - by raising awareness of the transformative value CI can have on family life. We used storytelling techniques backed up with real and fantastic case studies and bypassed the finance sections of the media to target lifestyle media and broadcast. The results exceeded client expectations and targets by 276% and it’s lovely to cap all that off with a silver award for Financial Services Sector Campaign of the Year.

So it’s been a great day! I’m really proud to be part of this team – a more genuine, hard-working, smart bunch of people would be really hard to find. Thank you PR Moment, Opinium Research, and most of all, a massive thank you to the brilliant team here. Virtual champagne all round and delayed celebrations will occur when we can!
