#WalkTheWorld – Fundraising for Cancer Research UK in 2017

Summer has finally landed in the U.K., and with it a packed schedule of events for the Cascaid team here at Teamspirit.

The first of these is the London 10 Mile run taking place on Sunday 4th June. Natalie, Nick and Stephen from Teamspirit (and Dave from Pure Media) will be traversing London’s most spectacular Royal Park in Richmond with nearly 10,000 other runners. The 10 mile distance bridges the gap perfectly between the 10k and half marathon – only questions now is, who can break the magic 70 minute mark?

Once gift aid has been taken into account, we are quickly approaching the £3,000 mark. An impressive effort, and one which we should be able to build on. Upcoming events after the London 10 Mile are the Half-Marathon Night Walk and the North Downs Way Half Marathon.

All our efforts are helping the Cascaid charity reach the top of ‘The Totaliser’ – already over £660k towards the target of £1million. You can read more about the initiative on the Cascaid website.

There are not many people that have not been directly affected by cancer. Everyone at Teamspirit is fully committed to helping Cancer Research UK continue their great work in beating the disease.
