Get to know our grads

The Teamspirit Graduate Scheme is open once again and looking for two new members within the PR and account management teams - offering excellent on-the-job training and the opportunity to work on some amazing clients from day one.

But don’t just take our word for it - what do last year’s graduates make of their first six months? We ask Anna and Elspeth their thoughts.

Anna – PR – Psychology graduate

When it comes to deciding what to do once you leave the university bubble it can be an incredibly daunting decision. I was lucky enough to undertake some work experience with Teamspirit and I knew instantly that it was a company I not only envisioned myself at but I was determined to return to.

It has now been one year since the graduate scheme selection day and I haven’t looked back since. Being on the programme has allowed me to experience the full breadth of the agency and I even had the opportunity to attend a pitch for a new client in my first few months.

What makes Teamspirit stand out from other companies is the general working ethos. It’s something said time and time again but it really is true and whilst I love what I do it is made even better by those you get to work with.

Elspeth – Account Management – Architecture graduate

The last six months have offered some fantastic opportunities to get involved in a huge variety of projects and work with a number of different clients. Being given responsibility from the first day has been a great way to learn, allowing me to take a lead role in certain projects already.

As part of the account management team, you really get to appreciate the integrated nature of the agency – working between creative, digital and strategic teams. Since Teamspirit is a specialist in financial services everyone also needs to keep up to date with the latest technological and financial current affairs, which keeps you on your toes and means every day is full of new information.

In addition to all the support and development the company offers during work hours there is no end to the social events planned, from weekly drinks to trips away, all of which really does create a great day to day atmosphere among the teams.

If you are interested in taking your first steps in financial communications, or you know of a graduate who might be, take a look at our graduate scheme page for further information and application details.
