As fintechs continue to challenge the status quo with great ideas and tech-led products, many are starting to ask themselves: is a shiny new product enough?

Instead, many brands are positioning themselves as responsible businesses who are aware consumers want them to behave well and deliver ethical products.

A year on since BlackRock CEO Larry Fink called on business to make a positive contribution to society, we’re hosting an event exploring how ethics and responsible business practices are becoming key drivers for fintechs.

From challenger banks introducing gambling blockers to data-led asset managers that assess performance and sustainability, we’ll examine the motivations and expectations of users and investors that are taking ethics in finance mainstream.

The panel will discuss how fintechs are leading the way in responding to their customer base, and argue ‘good’ business is not just good business sense, but a necessity that established players can’t afford to ignore.
