Creative Services Manager

9 Month Maternity Cover - September Start

We’re looking for an experienced Creative Services Manager to join our busy (but fun) studio. Reporting directly to the Executive Creative Director, the candidate will be articulate, patient and calm under pressure as they’ll be working slap bang in the middle of this fast-paced environment.

The right person will have excellent skills in workflow process, scheduling, and project management. They will also have thorough experience in managing staff resource (whether that be internally or freelance), a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite to support artworking, and experience in print production.

Responsibilities:

  • As the primary ‘bridge’ between Account Management teams and the Studio, you will have an overview of all live creative projects.
  • Hold weekly production meetings with Account Teams – to assess volume and deadlines of work.
  • Manage creative workflow whilst being mindful of cost and quality.
  • You must equip yourself with the knowledge to be able to prioritise work for the success of the overall business and have the confidence to manage conflicts where necessary and problem solve.
  • Create, revise, implement and communicate all processes within Creative Services.
  • Manage all jobs for release to print and lead on all bespoke print production jobs.
  • Liaise with the Head of Digital Development on hardware/software for the team. </br></br>

Requirements:

  • Great written / verbal communication skills
  • Calm sense of urgency combined with close attention to detail (patient yet tenacious)
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects/activities seamlessly within a fast paced setting
  • Persuasive, fact-based and articulate with superlative collaboration skills
  • A good facilitator, leads by example
  • Minimum 6 years Graphic Design or Artworking experience (including a working knowledge of the Adobe Suite – InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator)
  • Minimum 3 years managing both creative workflow process and studio / freelance staff
  • Experience in digital / media a plus
